Originally from the suburbs of Washington, D.C., Zoe Davidson grew up a Surinamese-American Foreign Service brat, spending her childhood between the Middle East and South America. She went on to receive her BA from The New School in New York City, and her MFA in Screenwriting from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. Now based in Los Angeles (her longest home to date,) she writes television and films focused on misfits, women, and the fragility of status.
