ON-LINE SUBMISSIONS (WITHOUTABOX)
This year, we are strongly encouraging submissions via Withoutabox. Please click on the icon below to proceed with this method. If you already have an account with withoutabox.com, you may use it to log in on the next page. If you do not, one will be created for you when you fill out the application. You may make changes to your application at any time by logging in at www.withoutabox.com.

ALTERNATE APPLICATION FORM (PDF)
If needed, films can also be submitted via a hard copy application form. However, we do prefer submissions through withoutabox.com. If this is not an option for you, please request a PDF application and submit your film directly to the festival.

JUDGING POLICY
ALL films submitted to the festival are viewed and scored by two different programmers. All films that have a higher average, or are a favorite of a programmer, go on to final deliberations. Film Submissions are non-returnable. Please do not send original materials. If a film is accepted, entrants will be solely responsible for delivering their exhibition film materials to and from the festival venue. Complete press kits will be needed as soon after notification as possible. MFF cannot be held liable for your exhibition print/video materials which are lost or damaged.
LOGO / MENTION POLICY
If your film wins either a Grand Jury or Audience award, you are required to mention that fact in posters and other promotional material if and when the film gets distribution. Please note festival dates are subject to change.
POSTMARKED
The above dates are postmark deadlines.

FEE WAIVER
Because we are a non-profit organization and the revenue from submissions play an integral role in running the festival we are unable to offer fee waivers. We recognize it can be difficult enough to raise money to make a film, let alone paying festival submission fees, but these fees are necessary to keep the festival running.
